I will go and see the prespectives show. even though I did not make the final cut. I may even write about it. I may even write positively about it. Do you find this valuable?

(i didn't make the final cut either so i may be biased in my thinking) i went to see the show on opening night, it was a great crowd, great energy there, nice to see so many young folks at the brooks. (i have to qualify this by saying that the last time i was there for an opening it was the "in the spirit of martin" show three or four years ago.)

i really liked the perspectives show the night i was there but then the next morning when i woke up i rethought it, i still liked some of it but i thought a good chunk was pretty thin or just bad or was the victim of overhanging. that said, terri jones, patrick deguire, jon lee, philip andrew lewis, niles wallace, jack dingo ryan and cedar nordbye's work stood out the most to me, it was good to see st louis folks there in the mix (esp brandon aunshultz, i've misspelled for sure). i would be curious to hear what other folks thought.

hello, I have a question. How does someone in the Memphis area get their art noticed, or to see if their art is worthy of pubic display or sell? Thanks.
